Why tattoos are not allowed in government jobs

Tattoos have become quite famous in the past few years as previously tattoos were done by only some communities, primarily the tribes. But now it has become a fashion to wear.

But first of all, let’s see why tattoos are not allowed in government jobs?

Modern-day tattoos are not allowed in government jobs because, according to some people, this is a sign of unprofessionalism and indiscipline. Also, having colored tattoos may lead to health issues related to skin and blood, making a person unhealthy.

Also, previously(10-20 years back), wearing a tattoo can cause many skin and blood diseases so that the government won’t recruit people.

Best place to get tattoo as a government employee?

Well, it’s not recommended to have a tattoo from my side,e but if you have the urge to do I, you can have it.

Make sure it is small, not visible to people because if it is eye-catching, someday you have to listen to it from your seniors.

Here are some best places to have a tattoo.

  • shoulders
  • Back
  • Legs
  • Ankle.
  • chest.
  • Under wrist.
  • Inner face or forearms.

Just be careful you can hide it in the office.

Which government job allows tattoos?

There are no such rules that a government employee cannot have a tattoo can do any job.

Tattoos are allowed for people who mostly do desk jobs such as clerks, officers, directors, and similar to that.

But based on your tattoo and the place where you wear it can create problems for you.

Jobs related to the security dependence of any country or security of any country recruit the people having a tattoo. These include.

  • Army.
  • Navy.
  • Airforce.
  • DRDO.
  • Police service.
  • Secret services.
  • CBI.
  • Internal security and rtc

The main reason tattoos are not allowed is that they can cause many types of health issues. Some of them are given below.

  • Having colorful tattoos such as blue, red, green yellow can cause skin infections because they are made up of  iron oxides (rust), metal salts, or plastics.
  • Tattoos can cause allergic reactions.
  • Tattoos can also cause Bloodborne diseases such as hepatitis B and hepatitis C.

This is why people with tattoos are not recruited because they won’t do the job correctly if they fall ill.

What to do if you want to have a tattoo in a government job?

First of all, if you want to have a tattoo, you need to take advice or suggestion from your seniors in the office.

If they agree, you can have a tattoo by going to a professional tattoo artist or expert.

But beware, and don’t make your tattoos from any tattoo artist. As a small-town guy in my town, there’s no professional tattoo artist, and people who want tattoos either make tattoos from road artists or they need to go to another city.

But considering today’s generation, people are open-minded, and they don’t care about tattoos, or having or not having them can create a huge difference.
